HR for SMEs

Get the advice you need, when you need it.

Over the years, we have noticed that businesses without proper structure in place for growth, management, and training of their people are a recipe for hardship and trials that could have easily been overcome from the start of the business.

Do you know that almost one-half of startups fail within the first five years of operations due to different reasons and not having a proper Human Resources (HR) Structure is one of them? Some people often think that HR is something big companies and conglomerates focus on, but that is far from the truth because HR management is critical for all types of businesses – be it startups, micro, small, medium or large corporations.

HR for SMEs was born out of a desire to assist companies to succeed and reach their goals. We derive great satisfaction from working with different clients, watching them grow and prosper in their business endeavours.

Best practice is challenging but profitable

The purpose of HR is increasing the profitability of the organisation through a higher contribution from its employees. Without a strong HR culture, SMEs are simply losing an opportunity to add more value. Having a clear purpose gives employees a sense of purpose and a stronger connection to the goals of a firm. If employees identify with your values, they are more likely to be passionate about the organisation achieving its purpose. Values are therefore the reference point that employees use when they are not absolute on which path to take on any given matter. This is where the HR Department (be it internal or external) comes in, working with management and the employees to drive the business strategy in line with the values of the organisation to ensure goals are met and exceeded.

HR usually goes directly to the bottom line; effective and efficient HR feeds profit growth. All organisations have culture, values and practices, be it formally or informally. If you are experiencing underperformance or high staff turnover, the chances are your organisation has not aligned its purpose, values or practices with those of your employees. PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT WITH QUALITY HR MANAGEMENT NOW.

Without a strong HR Culture, SMEs are simply losing an opportunity to add value.
